Teachable is popular for selling courses. Before you choose, it is worth looking closely at transaction fees, where your money goes, and what happens with your students' data.

The 0% transaction fee applies with Teachable Payments; processing fees still apply (for example 2.9% + 30¢ on US cards). Community features are listed from Builder up.

Your students' data

Teachable's data processing agreement describes Teachable and the creator as independent controllers of student data. Creators can export a CSV of user ID, name and email; there is no native export of a whole course.

The students are the teacher's: names and emails are visible in the dashboard and can be exported.

Money

Students pay the teacher directly through the teacher's own Stripe account. TeachMillers takes no share of sales; it earns only from the teacher's plan. Stripe's own card fees still apply.
